counselling & psychotherapy
I offer both short term counselling for a specific issue you may wish to address, and longer term therapy,
providing emotional support to help you through what may be a difficult time in your life.
We all experience periods of struggle, where we may feel lost, stuck, despondent or in despair.
I invite you to get in touch, whatever may be causing you distress.
Key issues and difficulties that often bring people into counselling and therapy include:
depression
stress and anxiety
relationship issues
family issues
illness and pain
low self esteem
feeling stuck
body image
mid-life crisis
ageing and mortality
bereavement, grief and loss
work related issues, career crisis, redundancy
eating disorders
sexuality
isolation and loneliness
addiction
life transitions
Therapy offers a safe, supportive and confidential space to explore your feelings and frustrations, fears and concerns.
It is a non-judgemental space for emotional, psychological and spiritual enquiry. Exploring your feelings in this way can help you gain insight and clarity around the issues troubling you and the challenges you may be facing.
In therapy, I will walk alongside you, with compassion and support, as we together explore ways for you to gain a greater sense of self-understanding, and build a stronger sense of self, to be able to move forward and flourish in your life and relationships.
As soulful creatures, we come into the world full of potential, yet as our lives unfold, we may lose touch with some of our unique inner resources. Therapy is a way of tapping back into our real selves, re-discovering who we are beneath and beyond our personas, our negative scripts and the adapted ways we learned to survive.
